2.What data we process

We process personal data only to the extent that you provide it yourself through the contact form, or to the extent necessary for its secure operation:

• Form data: full name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), the subject of your inquiry and the text of your message.
• Technical data: IP address and the date/time of submission — to document the consent given and to protect the form from misuse (spam).

The website does not require registration or an account and does not process any special categories of personal data.

3.Purpose and legal basis of processing

• Handling your inquiry and communicating with you — legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, or taking steps prior to entering into a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Protecting the website from spam and misuse (honeypot, and optionally Cloudflare Turnstile verification) — legal basis: our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in the secure operation of the site.

Providing the data is voluntary. However, without your name, e-mail and message we cannot contact you or handle your inquiry.

4.How long we keep the data

We keep personal data from an inquiry only for as long as necessary to handle it and for any related communication, for a maximum of 12 months from the last communication. If a contractual relationship arises from the inquiry, we keep the data for the duration of that relationship and subsequently for the period required by applicable law (e.g. accounting and tax obligations). After that period we securely delete the data.

5.Recipients and processors

We do not provide your data to third parties for marketing purposes and we do not sell it. Our processors, who provide technical operations on our behalf, may access the data to the necessary extent:

• Hosting and e-mail service provider — WebSupport, s.r.o. (server operation, e-mail delivery).
• Cloudflare, Inc. — only if the Turnstile form protection is activated (verifying that the form was not submitted by a bot).

We process the data within the European Union. The providers listed ensure an adequate level of protection in line with the GDPR.

6.Your rights

In relation to your personal data, you have the right:

• to access your data and information about its processing;
• to rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data;
• to erasure (the "right to be forgotten") and to restriction of processing;
• to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• to withdraw consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn;
• to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava (dataprotection.gov.sk), or with the authority in your country of residence.

You can exercise your rights by e-mail at halo@dhwelding.sk or in writing at our registered address. We will handle them without undue delay, within one month at the latest.

7.Cookies and similar technologies

The DH Welding website is informational and, for its basic function, does not use its own analytics or marketing cookies. The following technologies are used to display and protect the page:

Necessary technologies are required for the correct functioning and security of the site and do not require consent. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are loaded only after your consent in the cookie banner, and you can change your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also manage or block most cookies in your browser settings.
